Opening a Rapid Response Center in Wichita, KS Region
ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (March 14, 2022) – Total Maintenance Solutions, a national vacuum pump design, manufacturer, and service provider acquired the assets of Newton, Kansas-based Valley Pump & Supply. Founded in 2003, Valley Pump provides vacuum pump supplies and repair services to lower Midwest-based food packaging plants, packaging equipment suppliers, hospitals and aerospace manufacturers.
“Valley’s nearly twenty years of service, broad customer base and proximity to the Wichita manufacturing region are key factors for the acquisition and complements TMS’ expansion & growth plans,” remarked Jeff Schmidt, TMS General Manager.
Lee Beckner, Valley’s founder will continue to lead sales efforts and assist with the TMS-Valley transition. “We’re excited to join the TMS team,” said Mr. Beckner. “TMS’ Made-in-USA pump line, order fulfillment capability and service programs represent a great fit with our loyal customers.”
The new TMS Rapid Response Center will be located in Wichita, Kansas, and provide seamless services with a merged workforce, including long-time Valley team member Jon Maugans. TMS and re-built non-TMS vacuum pumps and blowers, as well as parts, and consumables such as filters, oil, and filter kits will all be readily available.
Turn-around times for emergency exchanges in the region can now be same-day with the TMS Rapid Response Center. Rebuild and repair service will continue to be performed to exact specifications with fast lead-times.
